Just a reminder that election day is around the corner - November 7. It's usually hard to find information about the elections when there's not a presidential race, unless you have a good Senate race going (I wish I was still in PA.) Project Vote Smart is a great resource to get information on national, state and local candidates. North Carolina has a no-excuse absentee ballot which I can apply for online, so I've already requested an absentee ballot for me and Casey. That way I don't have to wait in line with 2 little kids and Casey doesn't have to stress about making it to work on time - although with voter turnout the way it is, there probably won't be much of a line.
So - go vote!
