Conversations with Coulson

Tonight we were discussing the Spanish words for different animals and Charlie asked what is the Spanish word for mouse.

me: I don't know that one. We'll have to look it up.
Coulson, matter-of-factly: It's el muscario.
me: Really? What is it again?
C: El muscario. It's Spanish for mouse.
me: Do you really know that or are you just making it up?
C: I just made it up.
me, laughing aloud: You're just like your father!
C: Why does he do that?
me: To sound smart. Why do you do it?
C: So you'll stop asking me questions.
