Way back when I first told the boys about the baby, I told them that the baby would come around the same time that the daffodils started blooming again. So now that the signs of spring have been peeking out, we've been carefully watching the bulbs in our yard start to grow. Everyday Coulson and I go outside and look at the growing plants, speculating which will be the first to "poke out his head:" the baby or the flowers. Coulson has been guessing in favor of the baby. I hadn't made a verbal guess, but inside I was pretty sure that the flowers would be first. I was right. This morning I noticed two yellow daffodils and two purple crocuses blooming (and baby is not even close to poking out his head right now).
I've been feeling fairly good this week. A bit sluggish, but still able to get some stuff done around the house. I am tired and I try to get a nap in everyday. Right now it's only 9:30am and I'm already looking forward to my 1pm nap time when I rest with Charlie....
